Why K-Pop is more interesting than Pop? A blog based on my opinions

Before everyone curses at me for calling K-Pop more interesting, when I say interesting I mean : engrossing, fascinating, gripping etc. Not in anyway did I say that K-Pop is better. But, based on the matter of interest K-Pop is much more entertaining in my opinion. Let me explain my self, I find K-Pop riveting because of the:

Performances

Honestly speaking K-Pop performances are one of the best and most captivating performances I've ever seen. Plus, most K-Pop artists are all rounders which makes their performances even better because everyone is good at everything. Moreover, there is such an extensive and creative use of props and space provided on stage. Along with that all elements of the performance from the clothes to the background, EVERYTHING connects and blends proficiently together. Some stunning performances include:

Stunning Cinematography 

Where do I start about how prepossessing and exquisite K-Pop Music Videos are. Not only are they a sight for the eyes but they also carry beautiful messages as well. Every shoot looks expensive and well thought out. Even Comeback teasers in K-Pop are high Quality. Personally the groups I think have the best cinematography include: LOONA, BTS, NATURE, SEVENTEEN.... there are too many to name. The video below shows the best of the best:

However, if I were to chose my favorite music video of all time, it has to be LOONA'S "BUTTERFLY". Not only is the video in general highlighting an important message but it shows multiple women of different color and ethnicity accepting themselves. And for the first time ever I've seen a Muslim portrayed as a positive character in this music video at 1:42.

Intricate and Complex Story lines 

Many groups in K-Pop have an alternate universe to their deposition. This is what makes it really mind-boggling to watch an ordinary video. You need to have a magnifying glass and a pair of those spectacles Sherlock Holmes had to understand what's really going on. At this rate I may even consider myself Sherlock Holmes 2.0 because of how much I investigate while watching a simple video. My mom often argues that there's no advantage to K-Pop , however I WILLINGLY LEARNED THE BASICS OF QUANTUM PHYSICS IN ORDER TO UNDERSTAND THE LOONA VERSE BETTER. So you see, there aren't just stories which are "Meh". No, the stories are so well thought out it's actually confusing. And everything, I mean everything is connected. Now you may think, c'mon they can't be THAT complex, turns out they are THAT complex:

Quality music and content

Usually when people hear about K-Pop they are probably thinking of three specific names: BTS, BLACKPINK AND PSY. *Sigh* How I wish that people would realize that there's so much more to K-Pop than these three names. K-pop Music is generally thought of as very noisy and messy and basically only dance-worthy. *Facepalm* There are hundreds of genres in K-Pop....one of my personal favorite genres in K-Pop is:

This blog is getting hella long, so anyways I hope this was an eye opening experience for non K-Pop stans and for my fellow K-pop stans out there y'all already know what I'm trying to say. To finish off, I hope I have proved my case.
