A sojourn from one mystic poet to another

Image
" O ut beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing there is a field. I'll meet you there.  When the soul lies down in that grass the world is too full to talk about". With the right hand raised towards the sky, in complete surrender to The Cosmic Ego. Left hand, in prostration towards the ground, the Earth of The Cosmic Ego. Revolving from left to right, around their hearts to enfold all of humanity with love. " Some call you love, I call you the King of Love, You are beyond imaginings, taking me places  I can't even dream of. O ruler of my heart, wherever you go... don't go without me." Rumi The art of the whirling dervish dates back to decades ago, to what is today's modern day Turkey. This art was developed by a man loved and admired by all those who encountered him. A man who, initially found the answers to the Earth's complex mysteries in books. Life for him was dotted with success, he was the most praised ...

For the Love of The Prophet (SAW), for whom the Universe was created

Image
Today is the Blessed day of Friday, the day which is regarded as the most significant and beneficial day of the week. What better day can there be to discuss our religion than this day? Today, I'm going to be talking about one vital part of our religion and that is: Our beloved Prophet(SAW).  Where do I start about our remarkable Prophet? Because truth is, words are not enough to describe the immensely beautiful person he was. Orphan hood is the culmination of extreme helplessness and his life on Earth began with it. He went from an orphan to a shepherd, to Allah's Chosen One, a persecuted man and then finally the peak of material power, a King. Did he live like a king? No, in-fact he could not be told apart from a poor man, such was his humility. He attained everything in life. If greatness lies in unifying the discordant elements of society by ties of brotherhood and charity, the Prophet has every title to this distinction. If it lies in displaying high morals, Muhammad(S...

The reason you clicked on this blog, what was it? Feeling like it's time to finally accomplish your dreams of being that top student in class you always wanted to be or be the favorite of the entire class or be the most popular kid in school*cringe*. You came to the right place. Why? well because I've seen every City School Campus on the surface of the Earth. *STARTS SINGING THE GREAT, THE HISTORICAL ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK OF THE CITY SCHOOL* " I am a citizen of the City Schoollllll my motto is I am to learn " *APPLAUSE* 1. Give a good first impression of yourself How do I say this...well let me give you an example. I switch schools a lot and I vividly remember when I had to come to this campus this year.....well I was not giving away the correct impression of myself. What I mean to say is that usually I'm a very loud and talkative person. However, when I came here everyone thought I was the shy, reserved girl who hates practically everyone deep down but does...

Why K-Pop is more interesting than Pop? A blog based on my opinions

Image
Before everyone curses at me for calling K-Pop more interesting, when I say interesting I mean : engrossing, fascinating, gripping etc. Not in anyway did I say that K-Pop is better. But, based on the matter of interest K-Pop is much more entertaining in my opinion. Let me explain my self, I find K-Pop riveting because of the: Performances Honestly speaking K-Pop performances are one of the best and most captivating performances I've ever seen. Plus, most K-Pop artists are all rounders which makes their performances even better because everyone is good at everything. Moreover, there is such an extensive and creative use of props and space provided on stage. Along with that all elements of the performance from the clothes to the background, EVERYTHING connects and blends proficiently together. Some stunning performances include: Stunning Cinematography  Where do I start about how prepossessing and exquisite K-Pop Music Videos are. Not only are they a sig...

Me and My Childhood Fantasies (Harry Potter Version)

Image
Sometimes you read a book and it fills you with this weird evangelical zeal, and you become convinced that the shattered world will never be put back together until, all living humans have read that book. That's the amazing and sensational feeling I had when I read Harry Potter for the first time. To me it wasn't just ANY fictional book, it opened up a door to a whole new world.    The day I turned 11 I would wait outside our house for any sign of an owl with my Hogwarts acceptance letter, days were spent in endurance and persistence waiting for my Hogwarts Letter. I would sit near the window sill, and daydream about how it would be like to go shopping for my wizardly supplies in Diagon Alley. That was when I didn't know the truth of the world and my IQ was exceptionally low. The day I figured out that I wouldn't ever go to my dream school was *no exaggeration* one of the most gloomy days of my life. My mom helped me get over Hogwarts Phobia my promising that I could go...

Female Leads in English Literature who need Psychiatric help

Image
We all love fictional heroines, ultimate girl crushes, ideal heights, faces, Personalities , perfect guy who meets a perfect girl and they eventually have a perfect happily after *I know there are too many perfects* . Although there are quite a few great, legendary female leads who have made their impact on history *ehm ehm maybe Hermoine, Katniss , Annabeth and Elizabeth Bennet, the list goes on*; there are still quite a few who make me go "BAZOOKA".    Catherine from Wuthering Heights  The first female fictional character blessed to become part of this blog is none other then the legendary self centered and PTSD patient, Catherine Earnshaw/Linton from Wuthering heights. Throughout the novel, she is depicted as a free spirited soul and the wild child of the Earnshaws. Well how ideal isn't it, because seemingly these days she fits right into the category of a "QUIRKY" girl. However, as the story advances Catherine grows extremely selfish and narcissistic....

Online Education Around the World, a Yes or No?

Image
Remember 31st of December when we all claimed that 2020 was going to be our year. Well......things didn't turn out that way. There were a lot of unexpected calamities that hit the entire world examples include the world being on the brink of war, the PIA airliner crash, locust swarms, the earthquakes in Turkey and the Caribbean and the list goes on. From the looks of it this year the odds aren't in mankind's favor ( Hunger Games pun noted ) Perhaps the most impactful on our lives has been...*drum roll please* the  COVID-19 pandemic. Huh, remember the days we all used to go outside whenever we wanted well.... things have changed. The virus has proved to be so much threatening that governments of countries around the world started to impose restrictions and eventually lock downs on their citizens and just like that the doors of educational institutes were closed.  There had to be some solution children just couldn't sit idly at home doing nothing. The show had to ...
